Default 1/10th @ Frankley

As you may of heard, we are having a major revamp at FMCC over the next month and bit

we are looking into possibly starting to run 1/10th classes within our meetings. so we are doing a bit of research on what you guys would want from the club and the track.

we would like to know:

1. would you be interested?
2. what would you like to see on the track (i.e. jumps)?
3. would you be interested in Wednesday night or saturday racing?
4. 4wd or 2wd?
5. would you mind racing with 1/8th scale on the same day?

1) Yes
2) features suitable for 1/10th sized cars (including the actual racing surface)
3) Wednesday good for me personally, think Saturdays would be popular with the majority
4) Both, 2wd is the most popular class currently
5) Not sharing the track due to the different size of cars and lines taken. I personally have no issue with notro engines but I know many liek the peaceful nature of 1/10th electric so would prefer not having nitros present

I'd be interested as used to race rallyx there a few years ago. If possible some nice rythum sections and jumps that aren't car breakers would be nice

It might be worth you posting this question in the mid west section as most people who would be in the catchment area read that

Not massive car braking jumps. Nice flowing track with different camber changes. Excellent examples Broxtowe, Telford and Kiddy. Just stick with Astro aswell IMO.....

This would be my nearest track by a good 13 miles so I'm very interested to how it goes. My 2ps worth is that it needs to drivable by your average club racer without worrying too much about breakages. Nothing to put a new driver or a young lad off than smashing their pride and joy up on their first few laps. Seems a lot of unused space in the track picture. Maybe a few tighter technical sections could bbe included in those. As for that huge double I think a runaround might be wise! Or fill it in as a table top. As for sharing track days with nitro I'd say this would put people off in general.

Thanks for the feedback, the big jump is going when we revamp the track over the next month, and a lot of the unused space is going to be used
