My first airbrushed shell

Well here it is guys. I'm kinda happy with it for a first attempt but I did struggle with getting the red edging for the flames. Every time I eased the button back the paint shot out like a kids straw blowing painting ( see close up) any tips on how I can improve that?

its good for a first, my first few were shocking just takes practice.

Looks good well done. Sounds like the paint might not be thin enough a or the tip might be getting blocked if it only happens with the red then its the paint.
Still looks good for your first one, onto the next!!!!
