Default KO Esprit 3 lipo?

What type and where can i get a lipo battery for the transmitter and how would you go about wiring it up?

You can find on eBay some 3s 2200mA for $10 or so, I bought one labeled Futaba 3s lipo. Size is 11.5x4.3x1.5 and you have a balancing port as well as your typical servo wire.
Just remove one side of batteries tabs along with attached servo wire and connector (the whole tab is clipsed), then fit your lipo.

Don't charge fully, around 4/4.1v per cell, as the Esprit was design for 12v (module gets warm if fully charged). Won't destroy it but the less stress the better.
It will go from 11.3/11.5 to battery alarm very quickly so take time to charge it up a bit before an event (a few minutes will be fine to top it off if needed at the track if you forget)
Watch for puffing (my first one got bigger after a couple of years and stress the batteries tray). Watch for cell voltages too as you might have a cell going lower after a while.
