Default Dead MRT MX Pro

Hello,

a friend of mine has just got back into racing and is using an MRT MX Pro.

Unfortunately he wired up his new batteries in reverse polarity and has apparently blown up the shottky diode and power cap and shut the speedo down. The last thing he saw when he reconnected the batteries after the pop was the led light up but then die off in a few seconds.

Is this a terminal problem or is there some way to reset the speedo to factory settings and bring it back to life?

Elliott.

give terry a buzz at MRT (check their website for contact details). he's really friendly and will help over the phone if he can. By the sounds of it he may hae to send it back for a repair, but Terry will advise him. MRT are pretty good with customer service, should sort it out cheaply and speedily unless it is beyond repair.

I have sent MRT an email but maybe I'll call them if you think that would be quicker!

I spoke to them - nice guys. They said I should sent it back and they'll have a look. Sounds like I might be in luck
