Hi all,
Just after a bit of advice re an airbrush & compressor please... Used to do some airbrushing about 7 or 8 years ago, however the airbrush I had wasn't the best, and I ended up giving up! Ideally I'm just looking for something to do highlighting/shadowing/finer detail with, still got loads of rattle cans for main areas. I've seen a few forums recommend the Neo for Iwata airbrush, has anyone on here used one? Or is there something out there for similiar money that's better? Re Compressors, I've seen alot of companies now do small ones as opposed to the big storage tank types. Any advice re these? Don't want to spend a fortune ideally as half the time I run out of time to paint bodies, and they all end up white anyway. Oh, one last one, what kind of paint do most people use nowadays? I used to use Faskolor - but had varying results with it. Apologies for the newbie questions, Thanks, Andy |

the best thing you can do to the compressor is to build it yourself, with an old motor of a refrigerator and a fire extinguisher as a reservoir ...
mail me to [email protected] and I can send you some photo of mine... it will be cost to you (if you find some used parts) less then 50 euros..AND IT WORKS BETTER THEN EVERY OTHERS! for the airbrush... It's not the airbrush the secret... Rc Airbrushing it's matter of technique, ultra mega airbrush is not required to do one great work...neo iwata will be a right choose...if I can give one advice use 0,3 nozzle ever... ![]() I use faskolor from ever...never had problems... this is my youtube channel...sometimes I upload video with advices.. http://www.youtube.com/user/niorevo |

If you type fridge airbrush compressor into the search box on this site there is someone that has already done it.
Bambi compressors are the best and will last you a lifetime, literally ! You can get them cheap here http://www.aircomps.co.uk/product-ca.../bambi-budget/ They're worth every penny. Nio is correct about the airbrush too, Iwata are the dogs danglies but you don't need to buy the most expensive to do good RC bodies. |
