Roger Curtis is the man who founded and later co-owned Associated Electrics with Gene Husting. Roger designed al Associateds early cars including the RC10. A true legend in r/c.

He also sold Associated to Thunder Tiger when he retired, but if Thunder Tiger didn't own Associated we wouldn't be getting the rerelease.

Terry beat me to it. Roger is a legend but was so humble to talk to almost like he was just saying its just an rc car why all the hype....I was surprised! I said to him its arguably the most iconic and revolutionary car in the history of rc.

All the guys were very friendly and I'm really glad I met them

I have the guys email in my case...just in transit through Heathrow to Newcastle now so will post details later if ok.
