Default tyre wear

Hi all
Could someone tell how often you need to change the 2wd Schumacher yellow minispikes on the rear, as mine have worn quite a bit over two meetings.

Thanks

Sammy

I tend to use mine till spikes are roughly half way gone, then use em indoors till they nearly bald

Depends if you care about the small disadvantage you get though, dont think its all that.

The track isn't easy on the yellow minispikes, but they work. 2-3 race meetings out of a set is ok really.
The brick corner is particularly hard on them, if you apply power for the straight on the brick corner, you can wear though your tyres a bit quicker, so coast over the bricks, then put the power down on the astro.

As Danny says, we tend to use the worn ones at other tracks like Cullingworth or York, so you get more "value" from each set.

They last ages too indoors, the new block tread will probably last a bit longer at batley too with similar grip level.

Yeah the blocks did not work when i tried them. Seem to work on the long astro of RHR but we dont really have any of that at Batley, not good on the grass either.
