You can buy RX extension wire. just use a clip or cotton or fishing wire to keep them together no problem. Flight shops sell them a lot to get servo wires to reach from feet away if required in big planes.

I bought my own servo wire and JR plugs from giantshark which cost me a couple of quid for 1 metre of cable and 6 RX plugs.

You could give Orion a nudge to add an inch to the rx wire

Full size servo fits, just means that your reciever will have to sit on top of the servo/rear brace/sideguard

Yes, I have a Savox 1257 full size in mine. ESC at the back near the motor and RX on top of the RX plate just in front of the ESC.

i run a 27 on the orion 7.5 so i guess if i was going to start on an 8.5 i'd go with a 28 or 29, but it depends on the size of the track really.

I often run a 28 pinion against the 76 kit spur with an Orion VST8.5

I take it the screw holes in the front will be for an updated brace. Ie one that doesnt fall off when you take the bumper off !

Should there be an optional plastic RF wide suspension mount on the parts tree for the mid motor config? Or do I need to buy the alloy option mount to reduce my rear toe in?
