Default This hobbywing esc rating...

I dont understand the difference between on-road / off road motor rating.

my esc Xerun 60a-sd says...

With 2 Lipo or 4-6 NiMH
1/10 on-road: >=5.5T
1/10 off-road: >=8.5T

so why difference?

So esc doesnt know the surface its racing on, is there any reason?

I am planning to buy 7.5T motor for my buggy...
