Default post from HK... am i screwed?

so i ordered my kit from HK and i just checked the tracking info to find this..

8-Nov-2007Hong KongThe item left Hong Kong for its destination on 9-Nov-200713-Nov-2007United KingdomArrived and is being processed.13-Nov-2007United KingdomUnsuccessful delivery because of incorrect address.

wtf now? is it going to be sent back?! anything i can do to find out where it is?

i will do but im not sure how far i'll get. had a look on the site and they dont accept tracking numbers for things coming from abroad. very annoying is this

I had a parcel sent from taiwan from my servo sponsor with no address by mistake. call up the courrier and they may be able to help. They helped me!

depends on how it was posted, what scale, if it was EMS then you can use your tracking number on the parcelforce site, just try the number anyways, you can always phone, if you got the tracking number, and details of the invoice.

ah, progress. when i checked on the HK site it took me through to RM.. which the tracking number wouldnt work. just checked with parcelforce and..

unsuccesfully delivery usally means customs charges and is enroute to local depot for them to send you a post card with a new uk tracking number begining with EC and with the details of how much there are going to rip you off for importing
vat + parcel force cut plus a little extra post.

all is well! it came today, and no extra fees to pay still waiting on various bits and pieces.. but things are trickling in everyday. atleast i have the main kit now so i can start building

Don't celebrate yet - these days they don't bother collecting charges at the depot, they send you an invoice later...

erm, no, Parcel Force will not release an item for collection/delivery until you have paid the bill, which includes their charges plus duty due. if you don't pay within a certain amount of time, the item is returned back to the sender, simple as that.
