I used to own a hot bodies cyclone s, and was not too bad. Now things like the xray t3r are popular, and a few modify them to put the motor further forward. I would say any mid range to pro touring car would be fine. One thing to stay clear of is the hot bodies tc fd, it is a £400 hpi sprint 2 dressed in carbon. Avoid any similar expensive drift specials.
Hope it helps.

The 3racing CS drift sport is the best entry level true drifter.

http://os.3racing.hk/carkits_web.php?carkits_web_key=18

It's also going to be available in the UK for £130 and it's already out in HK do available on eBay.

It's got true Drift DNA and you can CS drift (rear is faster than the front) giving you a much more realistic drift style.

I would recommend that, check out the tread on rctech etc
