So my 9-5 day job is product development at Epson. I convinced our marketing guys that it would be a great idea to hook up our new Moverio transparent display glasses to a camera on an R/C car. I hit up Efrain at Kyosho, and we made it happen! The real improvement of Moverio over other setups is the transparency. You can still see through the FPV image and drive the car from the 3rd-person perspective, like we're all used to.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkLNDsTXy4Y We used a Rock Force crawler to keep things slow and controllable. The IP camera was the easiest way for us to start streaming the video. We've already got a better camera and a faster vehicle in the works! Anyways, I hope you guys like it. If you want, hit "Like" and "Subscribe" and share the video with your friends. I kinda stuck my neck out on this project (it was a hard sell to play with toy cars at work), and the better the YouTube numbers are, the easier it is for me to keep justifying these types of projects and videos.

Does anyone have any experience with headtracking systems like Fatshark? Or any other recommendations?

Yup, it takes some getting used to, but it's actually pretty easy after a while. We'll see just how difficult it gets with a faster vehicle!
