Take the motorplate off and see if it's flat.
If it was every run rearmotor, it could have been bent in a bad landing, and it being bent is about the only way the motor won't mount straight. |

Just read dean. And replied to your pm. Never run rear by me but i suspect it maybe that rear cream weight. Did you shim it correctly beneath the cream weight went you converted it.

I noticed the same or similar thing to my 22 the otherday, the motor doesnt seem to sit at right angles as you look at the car from the front. Not sure how long its been like this,or if it was like it when built, and i never noticed.
All i can say,is that it hasn't affected its performance, although it runs alot noisier than my RTR rear motored version did,but that could just be the motor in this one being a little tired to say the least. |

Check your motor plate is flat, Just been looking at cbmonky's (SRCC) losi 22, He'd bought a bling motor plate of E-bay which looks remarkably similar to the one in your photo, and it wasn't flat. He's back to his original and all is good again
![]() Take your's off and try it on a glass table or something you know is flat. |

On every 22 I've built and helped build(I work in a hobbyshop), the motor will be standing like this due to the gearbox not being completely straight. I did a lot of sanding to get my motor straight on the first one, now I don't care anymore:P

Yeah we messed around for quite some time with shims, It needed 0.3mm (0.012") shims in two places to square it up. So with some that may be the problem. Difficult to do with sanding as you need to keep stripping it untill you get it right. Good on you for putting the effort in though ![]() |

My spur gear is not parallel with the motor plate, but the motor plate is flat.
I do wonder if there is a moulding issue with the gear box itself ?? |

Perhaps you over-tighted/cranked the mounting screws. |
