No Until moderately recently it didn't even include things like AC, headlights or running the stereo.

Might just be something simple, we saved (and then sold) a diesel by putting a couple of tanks thro with injector cleaner. (Could have been any one of a dozen other things, but in this case it was 15 quid well spent)

Mine had same problem. On advice I unplugged the mass air flow meter and the smoke went. Turned out to be a split in the intercooler. £350 inc parts and labour.

Was it a split in the intercooler itself or the pipes ?

cheers

I always use 4.545496 litres to a gallon.

An Uncle gave me a small imperial to metric slide calc back in the 70's when going metric was the fashion and it was on the front cover and it's stuck with me ever since.

Checked the pipe coming off the turbo, had to slide it back on a bit and noticed it was wet with oil. When my mate was revvingthe engine i could hear a hissing sound but coudnt see or feel where any air leaks might have been..........

Its a 2.0 TDCI (130bhp) mondeo on an O2 plate, just coming upto 97k miles.

cheers

I did say 4.546 but maybe should have been 4.5455.
