We've been using the 3inch black perforated track markers for about 18 months now, finding it is getting brittle which we expected.
Anybody got any alternative for track markers, this is for 1/10th, and ways to pin them down. We also have the 4inch white piping which seems to have lasted longer, guess it's just a little bit thicker material.

I took a walk round the yard at a place that sells pipe coils for various things. They had loads of different diameters and colours. Smooth and corrugated.
The smooth stuff was thick. probably a bit tough to work with but would last well. I have never actually done this but I would bash wood pegs into the ground flush. Drill an inch hole in the top of the pipe and use a big screw and washer and screw the pipe down to the peg. (so the washer is clamping on the inside of the pipe)
