Default Upgrade??

Hi all,
I have just got myself a pred x10. I was wondering is there going to be a conversion kit to turn my x10 into the x11? Anybody know?

there will be an upgrade kit as I understand it.

certainly, you will be able to buy the parts that you want and fit them on the X10 piece by piece. Early recommendations would be the two piece front gearbox top with improved castor angles and suspension geometry....

infact take a look here...http://www.teamxtreme.co.uk/

Excellent stuff. Many thanks.
I would just like to say a little something about the x10. I feel privelaged to own this car, I havent raced it yet, but what a piece of engineering. I am making an attempt to return to off road racing, as I have been racing touring cars for around 10 years or so, and in that time I have had the majority of the top touring cars. Design wise, these beats them all hands down. It's hard to believe Richard wetherley came up with this idea so long ago, and the basis of the design is still around today. I take my hat off to that man, and I just wish i had gotten one sooner.

The steering upgrade is really good, eliminates most of the play and works really well. You can convert the X10 with the parts below and works out quite a lot cheaper than buying the upgrade kit.

1 x STEERING POST LINK (XC018) = £8.50
1 x BALLRACED STEERING LINK (XC016) = £10.20
1 x BEARINGS FLANGED 3x2x6 (XB005) = £3.40

Plus Vat, bolts pretty much straight on just need a coulpe of extra screws.

I agree with you with regards the X10, great car, took me a while to understand the set-up requirements, but the last run out "What a car" to drive. Really looking forward to the next meeting
