You misunderstand me ..... nothing against the track, far from it ... looks brilliant! Only 1.5 hrs from my house too ... which is fairly close as there is chuff all going on in the west country!!!

I was refering to the Reedy style format .... wouldn't want to ruin somebody eleses day by dumping them into the pipes at the first corner due to not fully understanding the way my car is handling or how hard I can jump on the brakes etc. Might pop along for a look though.

the first corner sorts out the men from the boys!

in truth its more about luck if everyone goes for it!
if you are at all concerned about it you should race but just hang back at the start then go for it
you might even end up just driving round the carnage anyway!

Good idea!!! Bring your car, have a practise in the morning, and race if you feel up to it!!!

Last meeting, most carnage was before the first corner, everything sorted coming out of the first corner, marshall has to be attentive tho

Watching the starts, first heat everybody off on the beep, second heat I have the feeling everybody hung back a second, same result, but no major damage from the starts all day (I believe), everybody loved the format, made for lots of fine racing, and as said before, instead of 4 heats and one final, we got to race all day......much better deal.

I agree with what you say about the starts, everytime i got a dodgy start was from hanging back, in the last race i went for it on the beep and was in 2nd behind Lee coming into the first corner, didn't stay in second but loved every minute

I fancy a go at this, I've not raced at any 1/10th track bar Titchfield....ever.

Is it worth me having a go though? As last time out, At Clanfield, I discovered my car was sooooo sloooow. I may do the next one after this.

Some new cells and a new motor and i'll be wit' cha.

to be honest, the first time you race there it will better if your car is slow. It is a technically very challenging track and if your car is a fraction too fast for your ability then it could be an expensive day.

come along and try it, then if your car is too slow you can speed it up for the second round!!
