Default Can Schumacher do it?

Right, they have at least one top level driver working with testing on the new buggies, Jonas Andersson.

At first I thought they were only creating a 4wd buggy, after all it's all they have been trying (the two CAT 4000 prototypes and the slightly reworked CAT 2000), but Robin Schumacher confirmed they are going to develop and manufacture a 2wd buggy as well. 2wd is my favourite, so I'm loving this news.

I just wonder do you think they can pull it off? The Cougar 2 is still my favourite buggy of all time, so I am a Schumacher fan..... but I just have doubts if they can be competitive. Has anyone got any thoughts, or any information as to what the current Schumacher plan is?

if the car is well designed and performs well, there's no reason why not

Depends if they use the usual common parts bin or start designing from scratch. Oh and deliberatly make sure it's everything the fireblade wasn't.

He is? Sweet. Need some UK based testing after all.

As said above there is no reason why they can't. But also as they have said their last 2wd's (Fireblades) and their latest prototype CAT's haven't exactly been the best performers.

That is such good news. The electric buggy scene is really changing. AE 2 and 4wd, Losi 2 and 4wd, Kyosho 2 and 4wd, Hotbodies 4 and soon 2wd, TTech 4 and soon 2wd?, Atomic 2 and 4wd, X Factory 2 and 4wd. We are getting spoilt for choice! It would be fantastic to see two British companies producing and competing with a full compliment of cars (2 and 4wd). Makes the choice of 2wd cars a little bit less of a formality!

Sorry bigred, not sure if it's just late night but read that a few times and don't understand. Scouser - I agree totally. If they can pull it off it will be fantastic. Having British companies fight it out would certainly be cool, been years since that has happened.

My fingers are crossed.

Im sure they can do it. The top 3 cars at the moment all use similar geometries, as well as spring rates and piston sizes. There is no revolutionizing the wheel going on. Schumacher just needs to keep that in mind, and release a car with some interesting features. That will guarantee them a winner in the UK, and with a little support a winner in the US.

Q - Can Schumacher do it?

A- If Mossy is involved again they will have every chance. A brand new car made specifically for Off Road (no touring car convertions) would be fantastic and to be made in conjunction with with the new generation of RC electrics i.e. brushless, 4200's....

Good Luck to them.

if they can have it in proto form for a while and test it in all conditions it should be as good as the mi3, schuey do have plenty of drivers now so it shouldnt be too much of a problem

They can do it no doubt. Schumacher is popular and old-school.

I agree, I'd like to Schumacher back in the fight with a 2 and 4wd car as before. I'd also like to see them back here in the states, but with better parts supply to support their efforts.

The Fireblade was not a terrible car. It only became un-competitive when the B4 arrived. I won legs of A's at Nationals with that car!

As for the new Cat, its an orignal design and looks very promising. Im certainly looking forward to running it next year.
