Default How to remove overspray

got some nasty bleeding from using the pre cut vinyl that came with the shell. i now dont have a neat edge around the window so need to do some tidy up.

ive tried to remove as much as possible with a knife but the edge is not straight and tidy

whats the best remedy? should i mask the edge and continue to strip off the unwanted with knife and acetone or should i try to respray again but just to mask off the windows with liquid mask?

Mask the window again, but include the bleed. That way your window will be a little smaller but you will have a clean edge.

Best way is draw it out on the outside. Put some masking tape inside and trim.

I wouldn't use Liquid Mask I'd just get masking film or even 2 inch paper masking tape, remasked the window with the bleed as has been suggested above, paint same colour and be done, will get a more consistent edge than trying the other methods.

gents just to update you... basically option a was silly so reverted to full fat option b and masked off as advised albeit leaving a narrower window pane but at least with neat edges...

you live and learn...
