I think it's the normal following the crowd, wanting the latest thing and what you can get hold of from the local shops. Like with all cars there seems to be mixed views as to who gets on with it and who doesn't.

I'm really liking my 22, and finding it even better now I've switched to mid motor, but I know it's not the same for everyone.

There has been a shift from Durango to Centro C4.1 that i've noticed and pretty sure that there will be another shift over next month to Cougar SV2's

The 22 was massively popular when it was released as nothing else new was available or announced as being released soon, it was the first 2WD bugy Losi had released in many years and it was very different in its design to existing cars.

It didn't suit a lot of driving styles and rather than adjusting driving style or spending time on set ups as it isn't a car that you need to throw money at, people jumped ship to the next new thing in the hope of instantly being world champion out of the box and set up to the manual!

Recently i've heard a fair few drivers say they are going back to a 22 after having dificulty's with the others.

I'll happily stick with my 22 for this year, got it set up now so it seems to be useable on all surfaces and conditions with a few little tweaks, its silly robust, haven't broke anything since August and its had some high speed tumbles, the wear rate on components is awesome too... just got to get the thumbs some more exercise as its an awesome car and capable of beating the rest of the pack!

I personally think the 22 is awesome...

I'm not sure if people will flock to the Cougar again....the first car came out in a bit of a rush from what I've understood and then peeps had to spend loads more to get it up to scratch e.g new chassis etc!

The Losi is cheaper to maintain and yet awesome to drive. For me I'm not too interested in competition anyhow.

+1 to durability....like a brick.

The 22 is strong but you can break it but not very often parts are cheap anyway also advice from team drivers is very good they will help any 22 owner if you ask politely you just need to persevere and get the right setup to suite your driving style and you have a awesome car

+1 on the robustness of the car. I raced the car for about 4 packs, outdoor, practising against my mates 22, and bashing him about and we broke literally nothing.
I have been one of those people that buy a car and swap it for the next 'new' thing. I have somehow sold all my cars except the 22. It does have its flaws, like the space for electronics and a few other little issues, but it is a pure tank.

I have noticed that it all goes in cycles. Previously 22 were being sold every single day on oople about 2 months ago. All I see now is Durangos for sale. Soon it will be the Centro....

I love the 22....the car handles so easy when you got the right setup, but that shouldnīt be too hard .... ask for help (if you need to) and everythings fine =)
