Still the piece that did come off is 1.3 inch in length and almost 3/4 inch in width. The funny thing is I still managed to finish third but the insert was undamaged, now thats funny.

Any one else have the same problem?
James, you were being a bit savage with them though when it went, I was standing 6 or so feet away when you got stuck on a hose, gave it full bananas, the tyre balloned, then went pop!

It did make a really cool noise for the rest of the race though, made it sound like an ic car

Yes it sounded like an ic and was impressed that the insert came away unscathed, so something schumacher made did work well.

Yes I was annoyed as Andy and I were just starting a good race and win or loose wasnt the problem (as you know i had a good day), its just that it ruined an enjoyable race.

I couldnt fatham why the back end came out, so I rekon the tire went before I slid up the track marker. Still I didnt hit flat out so the tire shouldnt have gone pop, as the marshall wouldnt have touched my car. Its a weird one though as they were new.

Im tempted to try the GRP until schumacher resolve this issue.

Bang on, well my setup is starting, needs a lot of work, and maybe no is the time to jump ship and move to GRP.

The guys using on the track were saying the inserts are moulded to fit the tire perfectly as well, so that also shows that they are here to stay. Top not,

Dan and the other guys have pointed out that Losi and Proline inserts are not the way to go so now is the time to try it all. Proline are still my favourite but if you dont try you never learn.

Well I sent my rear tires to Schumacher, not really expecting much back but they did send me a set of tires for my trouble. I was impressed with the customer service that I got, so even though there seems to be a lot of bad air about their tires, I cant really compain, as their excellent customer service saved the day.

Used the new conspike tyres on the front of my 4wd buggy today at Kiddy.
Lasted 2 rounds. Pleased with them. On the 2nd run even though they were not at there best, they did not seem to loose any grip.
