Maybe Auto Air transparent smoke around the colour, or maybe go with a light blue or faint pink around the yellow then the smoke.

depends on the effect you are after. generally i would say green, orange or purple.

you can obviously tweak those colors as needed.. for example adding a tiny amount of black to the purple, using that..bring in the shading further by doing a few passes with an orange .
or add some dark green to yer flo green and do some shading then come in with a few passes of straight flo green before laying the yellow. etc etc |

Couldn't agree more as soon as I read the question I was thinking the same, what colour is the rest of the shell going to be?

I'd go for some orange mixed in with the yellow. Back it with White for maximum brightness.
To shadow it onto the red I'd go with some darker red or a spot of purple in the red. Black would be okay if it's a transparent colour but solid black is probably too much. |
