Right here is my attempt at antisquat for an x2c. I used a spare t-piece, dremelled it a bit and used a Madrat front rear hangar as a a block.

The second picture shows it with a 2MM spacer underneath the front block to make some antisquat. I haven't quite finished it yet (I can't find my countersinking bit) so it is untested at the moment. Theory is sound though.

Not bad, the system I'm developing means that the t pice isn't hacked into to retain it's strength

Been toying with the idea for ages, a carbon t-piece with an ally block which can be flipped to give different anti squat... Just need to discuss with a few people

ive looked at that Tom and discussed it with northy at one chadderton meeting. the problem with that is that the gearbox sits on the tpice in a molding and their isnt enough meat their to screw in from the top and the bottom.

i think doing a usable mod is also to keep working on the car easy and the adjustment quick

Dont think this will work to be hoenst.

Simon and I did this straight away when building the car. THe problem with it is the whole rear end flexes too much. I do have a solution and am working on getting it made. Its pretty simple actually.

Will show the fruits of my labour when its done

Danny

Think you are all on the right path, but I agree, there is a LOT of flex in the car already, anything you chop out or bolt on will weeken the join at that part of the chassis if you are using the original T-plate.
I think a thick as poss carbon fiber t-plate with the molding that the gearbox fits into bolted right through from the bottom of the car up through the molding then gearbox replacing the four screws, then all othere parts are quite simple to fit to the plate.
This way you will get adjustable anti squat, and make the car stronger.

Good stuff tho, and with all these ideas I think somthing good will come out of this

Ran the car today, and the change in the way the car works in dramatic, i could push and drive the car alot harder and was putting in faster lap times.

I think thats more pro-squat than anti-squat as u've lifted the rear rather than than the front of the wishbone...
