Default Motor suggestions

I can't decide on a motor

I want to get a new motor (BRCA legal of course) for 4WD as I've somewhat neglected to spend money in the past few years - but I'm not really familiar with what's out there for the money (prefer to spend closer to £50 a motor rather than some of the really expensive ones out there).

Any suggestions?
I'm after something that's not too agressive, but quick.

speed passion seem to have some good value motors in the right "t" range for 4wd, never tried any but looking at getting one myself.

other than that jespares may still have some lrp x12's on sale not sure which though

Noticed the LRP's and also the HPI's on JEspares but I've never used one of the X12 LRP's so not sure what they're like? I've only had a limited go with the HPI as it was a fairly slow 8.5 and not really quick enough to get a good idea.
I don't want to pay tons as I need to update a few things so I can try and be competitive again

If you could get a new (old) novak light motor theyre super smooth, they go for about £45 but think you may have to buy from abroad...
The LRP X12's are like a wind higher than other motors..Theyre very good though!

Yeah so that's the LRP, Sp and HPI all a similar price with the reductions on some of those. That's around my price range I'd say.
Are the SP's good then?

very good. And the plug in wires make life really easy for moving the motors around for maintenance etc
