Err, yes there is.
Not sure what way youve got it set up, but if correct then just... - put the diff into the belt - ensure belt is sitting on pulley and diff teeth correctly - set diff into recess on lower diff housing - ensure both eccentric bearings are llined up the same. Et voila; Bob's your uncle, Agnus is your aunt and your diff is in!

as long as its not notchy tight is ok infact tight is good

The rear was the same so I adjusted it, but if you say that tight is good then I will put it back to how it was.
