This one is pretty cool, Vito sent me an anodized Kyosho part and said make the middle color like this...I said holy s@#t, ha. I mixed up some pearls trying to get the color and sprayed on scrap lexan to see if it matched, nothing was working, it was lacking something and couldn't figure out what. Then I grabbed some candy red, added it, it was closer, then some pearl red and bam! It was spot on. Kinda fun to finally figure it out....

I'm sure Larry will answer for himself but if you're desperate for an answer... Go to your local halfords or car related sort of shop, they sell tool box matting. It has that pattern in it. Lay it in the shell, mist down some pearl white, back with metallic black. Done

or alternatively get some kitchen draw lining from any local store that sells kitchen utensils etc, I think its around £2 and follow eyeans instruction as above

Larry awesome work as per usual, really liking the car stands you do, top work

Thanks guys! I appreciate it!!!!

I like the tool box drawer liner better than the kitchen liner, as the tool box liner from Sears has more symetrical size "square holes". I mix pearl black with pearl silver half and half, spray it thru the holes, then back it with pearl charcoal. In person it looks real sweet, my picture skills aren't that good, so hard to see the pearls, lol

Dillan Volker
with our first paint mask from new vinyl cutter, Zack figured it out!
