Saddle pack conversion

Hi,i have just bought a saddle pack conversion for my cougar sv, i have bought the posts and carbon fibre chassis bits.im going to run it on the +8mm chassis but when i try and put the middle brace bar down it does not go right down,this is because it hits the saddle packs so just wandered is there is a different plastic end to go on the brace or cut it down.

You have to trim the plastic with a knife or dremel mate
