servo saver on my 210

ive fitted a servo saver on my 210 , after takin out a gear set

It looks like a kimbrough servo saver with the outer mounting points cut off

What servo did you kill?

Its a Hitec servo and saver. He killed a savo low profile gearset at Coventry last weekend.

Easily done with a 1251 and it wouldn't be my first choice servo except in a 511 etc

I've seen a number stripped in a Cougar SV which is similar in it's direct steering

Well I found and hacked a kimbrough saver up and now it's fitted to my 1251.

Will see how it goes tonight at my club meeting

I have an Orion VDS 1009 and wouldn't mind finding out how "strong" they are etc.

the servo saver was trick bit i think but i ran it 2day and it didnt work , had loads of wheel wobble . maybe a kinborough might be better .

I think the trickbits one, is kimbrough in different packaging..

Ran mine last night with a savox 1251 and had some wheel wobble on the left wheel!
Was my first outing with the buggy and was changing the front a axles to get more steering so im going keep it on for now to see if the wobble goes

Moving them more inline I assume.

How did you guess? Lol I had them trailing and struggled from major understeer put them inline and it felt a lot better! Then changed the insert to the next one forward (from inline) and had loads of steering

Nope, insert 2 makes the axles inline (although I used them in my 2nd race) finished the night on the 1&3 inserts (with no.1 arrow pointing forward)

I was getting quite a bit of understeer at Southport today and I moved my steering form 0 to 1 then 2, then 3. I found the 2 setting was the best.

It's great to have the option to fine tune steering so quick and easy.
