The controlled tyre for the Petit Race will be the new dBoots NanoByte tyre.
A tyre we have been working on specifically for the Euro indoor scene. The tyre has proved really good in testing. They've been run on numerous tracks on the Prima Felt GT carpet. Those who have seen them know how good they are.

As the venue Silverstone was waiting confirmation for, was given today!!! We now have a very large venue, has to be paid for!! Now, we can't fill it with clay (before anyone ask's) but!!!
Astro, concrete, grass ??? Large jumps etc... indoors ??? Would people be interested.. I will setup a page for this as ideas would be good ?? need them quick. 2 day meeting or one ?? Answers on a postcard

Good news on getting the venue... but what i cant quite get my head round is the fact its been so secret and know one at all has been forth coming in info, especially when you have plenty of european visitors coming who need to make plans etc..
(its been common knowledge for a hell of a long time that MA would be a no no... so why has everything been left till the last minute... this is what it seems like!) Then as soon as Nicolas announces a change of venue all of a sudden, you have your venue confirmed?? Is it me or what?? If the venue is now confirmed then you can share the location? I can totally understand Nicolas's decison for changing the venue, as nothing had been confirmed he had to think of others, as everyone especially the overseas visitors need to make plans because as we all know things get more expensive nearer the date and booked up.. I booked my Towcester Travelodge ages ago and got it for £13.50 a night.. bargain! Im just glad something is now set in stone... i would love to attend your new venue but have already booked and paid for petit and as Ardent is just over an hour away for me its a no brainer for me... I dont think starting an anti-petit race thread is going to help anyone! Its Toy Car Racing!

It's not an anti-petit race, it's a race meeting for all those who have booked hotels locally who will lose money as the hotels will not issue refunds.
All the other people like myself live locally, and support Silverstone regulary. Quote:

Not sure if this is aimed at me nick but I haven't been involved with the organisation of the new Silverstone venues due to family problems.
However I know matt on John were working hard to find venues which they have now done. Matt told everyone to be patient and I'm sure he said somewhere that a venue would be announced this week. As all the Silverstone committee found out the venue had changed along with everyone else today at the same time the venue matt was looking at was confirmed. obviously it's nicolas event and he made the final decision on the venue, wether people think its right or not it was Nicholas decision. All I know is the venue was about 20 minutes from Silverstone. As for the other meeting being talked about (that's all it is at the minute) the club have a venue we need to use, matt has worked hard to get the venue so makes ence to use it, Quote:
