X Factory has won the BeNeLux Championship for the second year in a row. In the last race of the series, X-Cars qualified 3,4,5,6,8,9,10 in the A. Team drivers Stefan Mesker qualified 3rd and Bruno "Elvo" Heremans 4th. Going into the last race, Mesker was leading on points with Elvo one behind. Nobody was within 5, so it was a lock: One of them was guaranteed to win.

The race was run on a track laid out on a grassy field, and the surface deteriorated all day, catching many drivers out often. The mid-motor X - 6 Squared behaved better on this surface than any other car, and Elvo came through from 4th on the grid to win both A-1 and A-2. This allowed Elvo to claim the Championship.

Last year's Champion, Stefan, took second in the 2011 series; that gave him the Netherlands Championship, a title he held in 2009.
