Go for an fs2,top car, very reliable, very quick and very strong!. I wouldn't touch a sx3 unless you have very very deep pockets.

B44.1
Everything in kit you need
Strong
Spares cheap
Easy to set up and minimal changes per track
Lots of helpful AE drivers to ask for setups!

Fine, if all the sponsored drivers are going to reflexively blurt out their own company's latest kit, I'll suggest one from my own perspective - that of the impoverished racer:

FTX Vantage

(either Brushless RTR as it is, or brushed RTR, then ebay the ESC and motor, and buy a brushless setup)

And I'll even provide some reasoning:

It has:
1) Slipper clutch, front CVDs, gear diffs, big bore shocks - good enough to race.
2) CML distribution, so good availability of spares and hop-ups. That beats the Bmax, Tamiyas and FS2 right off, both hard to find spares for. Probably also better than the Ansmann X4/Blizzard, another budget racer candidate.
3) Cheap as chips, less than a third of the other cars mentioned. That beats the DEX410v3, SX3, B44.1.
4) Looks - it's actually rather pretty!

I have never had an SX of any version, but people trackside do tend to be frequently knocking them for reliability and strength issues. And I am not talking of others who are biased towards their own cars, but the people who themselves are running the Schumachers.

Like I say, this is only me feeding back what appears to be a common theme trackside, so dont shoot the messenger!!

It would help to have a bit more info.
What kind of surface will you be running on?
Are u going to run regionals?
Are u an experienced driver or is this a first time car?

Best advice is to go to your local track and see what others are running and decide based on that.
Reason i suggest this is so that you can get advice on setups and if needs be spares.
