no food van, but the legendary SRCC canteen will be in full effect for breakfast dinner and tea and all the bits in between.

As well as the canteen, the track is in walking distance of all the facilities of the town centre....

Morrisons super market at the town end of the park...
Chineese resturant in the middle of the park...
Pub at the birkdale end of the park, plus pub, offy, lateshops, etc just a short walk down Weld Road at Birkdale station.

Aye, a short walk for a keen hiker like yourself Dan! In reality it's probably at least a 15 minute walk to those shops.

The chinese restaurant in the park is highly recommended though.

My toe nails ingrowing lol, I can barely walk without shooting pains, let alone marshal.
