Default Booking in

The event is booking up quickly and is only a month away.

If you haven't booked in yet, then go to www.centralbooking.org

If you are new to Central Booking, you need to register on the site first here:
http://www.centralbooking.org/cbs/in...&task=register

Thank you,

Keith.

When the cells are spotted in with the undies, just be prepared for the question - "what sort of toys need batteries that big?"

This did happen on a flight to Malta !

Bill / Chris, Think I'm a bit paranoid!

Chris - email me your details ([email protected]) and I'll fire it onto Central Booking so that when we download the BBK file for Bill, it will be there.

Cheers,

Keith.

Default accommodation

....a few people have asked so here's some suggestions if you aren't local. If you are local and have any recommendations, feel free to add:

Camping on site is the cheapest option but no facilities other than cafe / wash room open during business hours. Here’s a few options, if you want recommendations, most are on www.tripadvisor.co.uk

http://www.accommodation-durham.com/ - Kings Head Hotel
pub restaurant on Lanchester village green, a few minutes drive from the track. Village has a few pubs, Italian restaurant, chippy, Chinese, Indian, Kebab/Pizza takeaway and a Spar
£45 per room

http://www.bandbdurham.co.uk/ - Hamsteels Hall
b&b plus several self catering barn conversions, a few minutes drive from the track
from £27.50 per person per night

Manor Park Caravan Park
Broadmeadows, Castleside, DH8 9HD Tel,01207 501000 ‎
Caravan Park / Camping, 5 minutes from the track

http://www.premierinn.com/ - Premier Inn, Walkergate, Durham City
where the nightlife is at but 15 minutes drive from the track, worth a look

http://www.beamish-hall.co.uk/ - Beamish Hall Hotel
expensive hotel, if you won the Euromillions, 10 minutes drive from the track

Default Camping / Caravans

The site can accommodate camping and/or caravans, however, facilities and space is limited.

If you are wanting to camp on the night of Saturday 6th August, then please can you let me know by PM or email before the end of this week.

Unfortunately, camping can not be accommodated on site on the night of Friday 5th August.

do I need to book in and pay twice to race on both days? I'm slightly confused
I have booked in already for 2wd and my name is on the list above.

what kind of surface is this? grass/astro or dirt?
is there any electrical outlets for charging?
if not camping what time should we be looking to get there for?

Thanks for the questions.

Apologies Central Booking has not been the clearest as to how it works.

The meeting is Saturday AND Sunday and 2wd and 4wd will run across both days. Central Booking just shows the start date of the meeeting as 'Aug 06 2011'.

When you click 'book in' you see two rows for the same date, this is just to allow anyone that wants to run both classes to book into both classes at once.

All the other information regarding the meeting should be here

If there's anything else not clear, please shout!

Thanks again.
