You can route the servo and speedo wires under the ariel mount to keep iut of the way of the belts.

With the switch, I would move it further in as the body can turn the car off when landing off a big jump.

I used a pair of side cutters to force the plates appart, then filed 3mm off the rough end of the brass center part, put in the new ceramic balls in and packed it out as you would with loose type. Works great (Again thx to BudzBalls for info)

Yes sexy new turnbuckles next on list

Hight and position of uprated fan wont allow that route unfortunatly. I usualy have blue tak on my switch during a race to stop any problems

Looking good, you probably want to cut a coil off the rear springs. They are too long as std - you can see it coilbound in one of your pics.

14AWG helps to keep the wiring neat and makes no power difference on track.

The rears have 1 coil cut already but i made a bit of a mess of it, new ones on the way

Full set of new TRF light blue turnbuckles on order too but here are photos of todays fittings :-

New RW spur gear from JT Models (would recomend 1 of these) :-

Also completed the 501/502/511 Alu hybrid stearing set up (Still looking for the original tamiya arms using 3 racing ones atm with a slightly lighter blue tinge) :-

The cut part can go low if you bend the last bit of the cut part so it resembles a normal spring, that way if wont pop off the retainer.
