Hi guys,
Following my experiences with parts, or not, from another manufacturer I have come over from 'The Dark Side' and bought from the 'bay, a used ZX-5, at first I thought it was a bit slow, but having charged a battery wow does it go. I can see i'm already hooked on these. One question raises it's head immediately, getting the body on and off is a real pain, my initital reaction was to cut the 'tongue' off the front, the bit that goes into the shock mount, is this a regular thing to do? More questions on their way now doubt! Peter |

mine is cut off and the tongue is velcroed to the front of the gearbox and the body is held down by velcro on the undertray and the inside of the body

Thanks Rondoola, the 4 stubs for the pins seem to hold it well without the pins being in, but in a racing situation that seems a little fragile, velcro seems the way forward.

Hi Guys - been racing a stock ZX5 for a while now...throw away the standard shell and get a proline bull dog or an azarashi gomourph shell which comes with an under tray - velcro it up and never look back, not only that they look amazing and are a worthy upgrade for this classic! Love mine so much I am on the waiting list for the SP FS coming out soon - it is gonna destroy everything ( if I can learn to drive like Tebo
