Default Kyosho Ultima SC-R w/Pro-Line Flo-Tek Body

I painted it to match the stocker as best I could... 1st paint job in over 20 years.

For those interested...I recently got the new Pro-Line "Flo-Tek" body and tried to mimic the stock paint job. It's next to a stocker for comparison. Below is the result.

The body does seem to reduce the 'parachute' issue. Bought it as an SC and it's been converted to SC-R except I'm keeping the gear diff in it.

And a few more now that it's been beat up.

This is after about 9 heat races and a couple of days of just going round a friends track.

So far it seems quite durable.

I DID add some Shoe Goo with Fiberglass mesh tape after I painted it.

I also (no pics) added plastic washers under the fiberglass before I added the shoe goo. Once it all setup. I used the reamer to make the holes and it's SOLID now. It feels just as durable, if not moreso than the stocker. (Which I also have shoe-goo/tape on)

Thanks Neil! Does Kyosho have a very substantial following in the UK?
