I have just gone from the Speed Passion motors to Orion motors and all I can say is WOW. They are as smooth, if not smoother than the Speed Passion but seem to rev harder and stay cooler .... win win win!!!

But are Orion BRCA Legal ? The new stuff that is, the older stuff is, i know.

I was close to buying one the other day, but for the life of me, couldn't find a definitive answer on the BRCA Site....

The HPI/HB Motors are worth a look at, really smooth and some unbeleivable top end power, Nathan Ralls has been running an 8.5 in his 2wd and A Finaled it at last weeks National

I've never worried a huge amount about heat - as long as the smoke hasn't escaped, it's all fine. It's well known that the LRP motors run hot, but, they are quite happy doing so.

Hi Mikey,

No the "Boost" and "Feel" were turned down to make it as smooth as poss, From what I remember he just had the Motor Timing turned up a bit

Can Double check with Nath to confirm but im pretty sure that's about right

Ps Just replied to your stock Query on the other thread
