I came across this and was wondering if it would be useful for people.
Since I started racing 18 months ago, i've always struggled to remember what effect adjusting a certian parameter (eg toe in, camber location etc) has on a car's handling. When browsing my old XXX-Cr manual, I noticed there was a detailed set of instructions on setting up a car, but these are not mentioned in the TLR 22 manual. I've copied this into a word document and editied it slightly to make it seem more generic and non-specific to the XXX-CR - hopefully some people will find it useful when tuning their cars (on the assumption that the effects of these adjustments are transferable between cars). Although it is no substitute for good advice from experienced drivers, it has certainly helped me understand a car's setup much better as it goes through all the main adjustments that you can make to most buggies. Please let me know if any of this is wrong however.

Similar thing in the back of the B4 manual.
Very handy to get as many set up guides as possible. Thanks, Jon! |
