I've noticed a few good deals on the vanilla E-Firestorm on ebay etc. at £99 or therabouts. It's easy enough to fit a suitably mental brushless speedo / motor in it (not that it needs it, I had an 11.5T in mine, and that was plenty for bashing).

I have one at the moment running a 5.5t motor. Unfortunately it's dog eared so quite fancied a rtr one

Anything wrong with the brushless setup? If not, get the new kit, put your existing electrics in it, and strip the old chassis for parts.

not really but a tad cobbled ezrun and novak, bit too mental, i.e 5.5 and running on slicks, so the extra 100 notes gets me all the run gear peace of mind, warranty etc
