Hi there,
I am sorry if this is one of those questions/threads that keeps coming up again and again, but having looked around the Forum I need some advice. I am seriously considered getting into RC and like the look of the off-road buggy class (1/10th scale), because of the amount of clubs and general use I can get out of it. As I used to race slot cars (and was pretty good if I do say so myself) I am keen to roll my sleeves up and get stuck into a kit rather than a RTR buggy. I would prefer an electric set-up rather nitro/petrol just cos I can see myself setting fire to the dog! Plus I did built a Tamiya Alfa 155 a while go. Does anyone have any good suggestions of what I should look for? I have been recommended a Castor Racing 1/10th Buggy (RTR) by my local RC shop as a good starter, is that any good? Really looking forward to getting started and being part of this forum, cheers in advance ![]() Mark |

I was looking to spend around £200-£250, is that realistic?

Cheers for the PM Shaun, I will have a think.
I was hoping for around £250 all in, as I haven't raced in RC before I didn't want to go for something too high-spec, just something that I can get used and then upgrade as I get more involved. Has anyone had experience of the Castor Racing buggy? Cheers, Mark |
