Question Help Install Tekin ESC

Finally got my radio and esc etc. to get buggy running after waiting for public holidays and floods etc. Im running a Tekin RS Pro & Futaba R603FF RX. Trying to decide on how to mount them. I had a look through the show me your electronics thread and none in there look like the way I want to run it below. Is it best to have the esc posts away from the motor so there is not so much heat in that area. If I have the RX standing up like below seem to have more room.

In an ideal world, try to mount the Tekin so that the posts can get some airflow through the body vents.

Have you seen my pictures? I mount the speedo the other way round to get airflow to the posts through air vent at that side of the car. I also fit a fan next to them.

The only downside is you can't see the leds too clearly.

I wouldn't fit it that way because as you say its a hot area right next to the motor

I noticed a few guys mounted their Tekins right next to the motor but was just abit iffy with the heat of the motor and the esc. Have to play around with it some more tomorrow and try to workout another layout. The rx wasnt as small as i thought it would be.

Found the pic of Northy's. Have to check tomorrow but think my rx is bigger. Is the rx in the pic of Northy's rubbing on the servo horn?
