Yes he was and i have to say, he was pretty awesome with it. To be fair, he was the quickest there. Couple of unfortunate accidents saw enough time each time for Lee to pull out enough to hang on for the Wins.
He was soo much quicker through some sections, the car looked awesome.

But i will say, Lee did a Cracking job and definitely deserved the Overall Win. He coped with the pressure and made the fewest mistakes, which is what it's all about.

Brilliant for Lee to win, such a nice bloke. And the relief on his face when he crossed the line in Leg 3, was big. Head back and big Phew !!! lol

Awesome job by all the A Finalists.

This was my first Petit event and it was ace. The competition was hard and the racing was fast but it kept it very interesting.

Well done to all the organisers and to Nicholas who is a top man, And a big thanks to Mr Springer for supplying me with parts to keep my 501 racing . Massivley appreciated mate.

I should have stoped over Fri night tho, Having to set off at 4am Sat morning did me no good.

It was great to see Dennis make an apperance with a cammera but I couldn't see Gnasher anywhere .

Just got home after leaving at 7:30. Fantastic race and even though I was low in the pecking order it was still exhilarating racing which is what it is all about. Hope to get a video of my Durango doing the 360 back flip off the jump. Felt good but the rear bulkhead gave out on the landing. At least in the UFO race I saw it happen to Hupo on both ends of the Durango!

Best race by far for me over the weekend was the ufo. No winners at all as we all killed our cars but hats off to Hupo with his jump which came very close to hitting the steel girder in the ceiling, pity he wrecked it when he landed. My truck is now RIP but the jumps it did going the wrong way round the track did do it justice. Great fun.

Oh yes those melons in the pucture tasted lovely and was asked by soneone before the race to do again and when the race finished i couldnt resist. Did anyone manage to get a picture of it whilst i was on the rostrum?
