Indeed, I'm having to lie tomorrow so I can get the time off. Just hope I can get on the pace with half the track time.

All British, but I have 70e in the wallet if you need them. (Could be more, but the photocopier can't replicate them well enough!)

After getting a bit of track time today I feel sorry for the people who didn't get chance to do the same before the event, the carpet is very strange and they'll be on the back foot all weekend

It was said earlier the practice sessions would be run with carpet on top of the new carpet so people wouldn't get any advantage - yet I turn up today and the whole track is the new stuff

I thought the carpet looked 'new' too. Wall of death section was knackered. Just going to enjoy watching and getting round cleanly.

Sadly I had a fealing this would be the case, load of hot air about practice being no advantage & old carpet and wood then!

I promised myself I wouldn't bother to look at this thread until tomorrow but I couldn't resist it.

You will all be very surprised tomorrow morning. Even the wall of death has changed!
