Nicolas has now posted up some more information with regards to opening times, schedules etc.. see http://race.petitrc.com/

Click Rules and browse around, there's even an overview you can print off and bring with you.

We can't wait now! loads to do to prepare but it will be worth it on the day :-)

Evening all

Has anybody got an e-mail address for the organisers? I didn't realise I'd actually got an entry and can not make next weekend. I need to remove myself from the list. I've been searching for a contact address but can't find one

Thanks

Andy

I heard that some had brought there own heaters for the last Ardent Buggy meet... it kept tripping the power so they banned people from bringing there own??

Can some one confirm if this is the case?

Banned is a strong word, just not a viable solution is more the case. on Race days we cannot have fan heaters, not just because they cost 50p an hour to run which is nearly as much as your race fees, but with 150 racers, if just 10 people bought 2.5kw fan heaters that's 25000W!!! Stick 10 on at home and watch what happens. The electrics just can't cope. Besides we will happily burn £500 of Gas over the weekend through 4 Jet burners so you won't need fan heaters on Race day.

For practice days we invite people to bring Halogen Heaters, up to 800W but if we get more than 10 people then we stick a Gas Burner or two on. However the weather forcast over the Petit is now 11C and dry. last time many of you were here it was -6C so a huge difference. :-)

We have pitting and seating for 130, plus tables for another 12, so need 14 people from the UK to bring a pit table and a chair, and a further 12 to bring chairs :-)

All extra pitting areas have Electric so that will not be a problem. We also still have space for motorhomes or caravans if anyone is interested. £10 a night including electric (bring your own extension lead), £5 without.

Please don't bring 12v batteries to charge from. :-) you don't need them.

John.
