Nicholas, Ardent always seem to have musi on so they have the equipment and somebody must be running it. Other than that can't help.

Dazzler, great for spectators as there is opn fencing on two sides of the track .... doubt you will struggle.

Could this be clarified please?:

> Track open all day thursday and a mini race meeting thursday night?

and

> Track open friday morning until midday?

I don't want this to come across as a criticism, but its simply a fact that i wouldn't be going to thursday or friday practice sessions if i didn't think there was an advantage to be gained, I'd rather not have to take any time off work and pay for extra nights in hotels but I think there will be something to be gained (even having been all the durango series meetings) so i will be attending at least some of the seshs..

Hi, Thursday doors will open at 09:30 for open practice. Practice will continue until 18:00. At 18:00 we start booking in those that wish to attend a race meeting in the evening. this will be 3 rounds of RBR qualifying and 1 round of finals. This will finish around 22:00.

practice from 09:30 until 18:00 will cost £10, Race meeting on the evening will cost £7.

Friday, doors open at 09:30 for practice and practice will finish at 15:00. From 15:00 we will prepare the track with Nicolas and all will be revealed on Saturday morning when the doors open at 06:00. Cost to practice will be £10 for the entire day or £5 for 4 hours.

Wrap up warm, we are in a barn, hence an agricultural theme. :-)

Hope that helps :-)

You can always take layers off if you are too warm. :-) I would rather you be prepared. We will happily burn all the gas when the Petit weekend is on, but if there's 5 people in the pits on Thursday practice then huddling around an infra-red heater and a warm mug of coffee is pretty much all you get ;-)

That comment might read arrogant but please don't forget we are all volunteers, we all have day jobs, Ardent is a not-for-profit venture for racers to enjoy their racing. ;-)

Roll on Petit RC!!

Thursday 09:30 until 22:00, Friday 09:30 until 15:00. Then the pits MUST be vacated. Nobody can see the final track :-) or the special jumps :-)

Same here...i cant get there till about midday Friday. Will it be ok to pop in to reserve a pit table like we did at maritime? Ive never been to Ardent so i have no idea about the pit area setup. Im not worried about sitting near my mates as i dont think i know anyone who is going! lol LONER!
Also as ill miss the morning will i still be able to sneak a practice in?

Thanks
Martin

Hi Martin, Practice will finish and turfing out will begin at 15:00 on Friday, providing you arrive before 15:00 you can get in and reserve a space, we have permanent pit spaces and seating for 130 drivers, so 26 of the UK drivers will have to bring their own table and chair. Priority for the permanent spaces will go to our European travellers who can't just throw a table and chair in their boot. :-). whether or not you can sneak a practice run in is up to you, but track and facility will close at 15:00.

See you soon,

John.

I thought that might have been what you were referring to, Yes 156 buggy drivers = justification to burn a whole load of GAS!!! :-)

Outsider, Andy Moore! Shock to the Buggy world. He's only done buggies twice and made the 2nd and 3rd in the A final. With some practice he'll be very competitive.

The onsite track shop, what brands are they catering for spares?

Also lots of Schumacher mini pins and foams trackside?
