Digital servos do draw more current than analogue though. Suppose that's what makes them more precise.

funny how it worked perfectly in my b4 with a sh**ty xp 2.4 system but a top of the line spekky

im just keeping my finger, toes and ball sack crossed that this cap resolves all my issues.

you MUST get one! they are insanely good to build. had no problems what so ever, just this electrical problem.

SOLVED!!!

problem solved with power cap fitted, no glitching at all now and has been extensively tested.

turns out savox draws to much current from the RX causing the RX to send the odd signal to the esc.

just in time for racing this weekend

To add where before the current was dropping to 5.1v its now not dropping any lower than 6v

you are getting confused current is amp draw for example if your servo pulls 3amps @ 6vDC and your esc is only letting 2amps @ 6vDC though the circitry it will have a compromise voltage so the voltage would then drop to 2amps @ 5.1v for example not enough to run your rx.
