![]() Its Spandex time eeeeeerrrr Not quite yet. Ittttttttts SPANDEX TIME Not quite yet !!! Phew ! Classic 1980's Eddison handbuilt 24" 531 Steel Race Bike. All top Italian wheels and hubs , brakes handle bars etc. Rode to work this morning took about 4 mins. about 8 on mountain bike on pavements. Scary to say the least I has 13years old when I last rode a RACER. Dammed BMX craze. Analogue Gear change Remeber Them. Still snow and ice in Derbyshire and the canal was frozen. Ps im the one in the RED . - 9 stone 8lb from January this year.. only 4 more to go.. ![]()

That really is proper nice!!!
Love the old handbuilt CroMo frames! So much more comfortable than the alloy or carbon frames and the workmanship on some of the older bikes makes you wonder how they made any money at all on them. Is the switchgear indexed or is it proper oldschool? Now go completely silly and tear the brakes off, get rid of the freewheel and build a single-speed setup ![]() ![]() |
