ended up opting for the nosram pearl, just deciding on the best motor for it.

As i sold you it... i can tell you, you wont find better power combining it with a Speed Passion V2 in modified winds... if you can find one them in the wind you want, then your on to a winner. They just worked amazingly together. Remember running a 6.5 on one and it was va va voom. Dont think the V3;s are as good power wise, but run cool.

X12 are pretty good, but no experience with anything else than a 4.5, but the X12's do run hot in my experience, but there melting point is higher than most motors, so people think there too hot, when really they can take it, when other makes will go up in smoke.

Regarding the esc, in my opinon LRP/Nosram speedos throttle wise feel the best, plug in and go, it feels on the money straight away, simplist programming out of them all, i wouldnt run anything else in offroad.

thanks steven! im glad you mentioned the x12 as ive just returned from je spares with a much lighter wallet and a new x12 6.5t

looking forward to recieving the speedo then im good to go hopefully!....when my dx3s arrives lol
