Yea, homemade job, 5mm thick has about the flex of a carbon chassis with alloy rails front to back and the 'twist' of a carbon chassis with plastic side rails.
Got a new dremel and wanted to have a play! |

That's a great looking car. How is it with heat though? I find the alloy chassis dissipates heat away from the motor very well. It was the only thing holding me back from the carbon. I know it's not really the thread for this question and I apologise.
