Default B44 WHEELS AND TYRES ADVICE and lipo.

jUST GOT MY b44 with rudebits chassis and brass parts looks very nice.

I need to get some wheels and tyres.

it has hex at the front and pins at rear ? Is this the standard set up ?

Where is best to buy from and what to get for grass i.e back garden !

also what tyres for indoor carpet racing ? ardent raceway etc ?

Yeah hex front pin rear thats standard.

As for wheels and tyres most people are running schumacher mini pins or mini spikes they seem to work well on most surfaces and very good indoors.

what size lipo do i need ? i have a trakpower 4800 but the height is far too much to fit in !

The trakpower will fit, but you just need longer screws for the posts and some spacers/washers to raise the height of the posts.

do schumacher wheels fit the B44 or do they have a different fitment ?

do i need proline wheels ?

i race touring cars sohave no idea off road !

losi 4WD wheels are a direct fit both front and rear.

Schumacher rears fit, not sure about offset or fronts.

My advice is to but Associated wheels for an Associated car to begin with, then learn as you go.
JC Rolux wheels are available as well at a nearly 1/2 price.

Ring DMS on 01923816636 (or any other good shop - MK racing & MB models to name just 2) and they'll keep you on the straight and narrow.
